The best way to find last creature in a caves is to find cave on mountains. When you would come there just walk here and there and it will spawn. Go to glitched planets. Only 1 species, usually easy to find. The last rare underwater creature is usually one of those big ones found in the open ocean. Could also be one of the disappearing crabs near the shoreline. For underground, the best strategy I've found is to stick near one of the larger cave openings and reload. .
